June 7 Concert:

“The Americans”

The Symphony of the Potomac concert scheduled for June 7, 2020 has been canceled, following the State of Maryland order banning public gatherings. Even if public gatherings are reinstated in June, the current ban precludes our holding the number of rehearsals required to present the quality performance that our audience expects and deserves.

We are also postponing announcement of our 2020-2021 season until later this year, when we are sure of the options open to us for rehearsals and public performances.

The health and well-being of the SOTP community--our musicians, volunteers, support personnel, and audience members--will be our primary consideration in deciding our way forward as the current health crisis continues.

Updates to our schedule will be announced on this site and through our email list. If you are a ticket holder, you will receive an email from us with further information.

We extend our best wishes for your continued health, and hope to see you next season.
